Kleberg Elementary closed for the next ten days after an individual at registration tests positive for COVID

Kingsville ISD posted to social media that the individual was at the Kleberg Elementary registration area of the cafeteria on Tuesday.

KLEBERG COUNTY, Texas —  A Kingsville ISD campus is temporarily closed after a person who was at the student registration area yesterday tested positive for COVID-19.

This person was at the Kleberg Elementary registration area of the cafeteria.

Any parents or visitors who were on campus to register their child may have been in close contact with this person.

Principal Norma Mancias-Prado is contacting anyone who may have been directly affected.

People who have been in close contact with the infected individual are expected to self-quarantine for 10 days.

Meanwhile, the campus will also be closed for 10 days. All Kleberg Elementary employees will be working from home during that time.
