Corpus Christi Police officers came together to say goodbye to one of their own. Today, a memorial service was held for officer Wayne Hodge. Hodge passed away last Sunday. Hundreds of people packed into the Police Officers' Association Hall on Leopard as officers joined his family in remembering the long time police officer.

Retired CCPD Commander John Moseley said, " I think the most striking thing about Wayne was his happiness, humor, love of live, and his willingness to always give. A great guy. A fun guy."

Officer Wayne Hodge was a member of the CCPD for 30 years and also served as the president of the Corpus Christi Police Officer's Association.
