Robstown (KIII News) — Christmas came early for 10 teachers in the Robstown Independent School District.
The Robstown ISD Education Foundation gave out 10 grants Tuesday morning to teachers in the district. The teachers were asked earlier in 2018 to submit a proposal for what they would use the money for.
Second-grade teacher Priscilla Ann Garcia at Robert Driscoll Middle School was one of the 10 winners. She said she submitted her idea for "wobble chairs" to allow students to get out some of that everlasting energy without disrupting class time.
