Beeville (KIII News) — The Beeville Police Department has added something unique to their fleet that will be on display for the rest April.

The department is supporting Autism Awareness Month by placing an autism patch decal on their police units. It's part of the Autism Patch Challenge, something the department has participated in for two years now.

New Rochelle, New York police officers first started the Autism Patch Challenge, and it has now been adopted by at least 130 departments across the country.
