In the small community of Ben Bolt, there is quite a dynasty in the making as a high school mariachi band just took home another state title.

The Ben Bolt High School mariachi band recently won their sixth straight state title. They were honored Monday by the Jim Wells County Commissioner's Court.

"They've had great directors before. I'm pretty much stepping in and guiding them, and keeping them on that legacy," Band Leader Jonas Quintanilla said. "They have it in their blood. They've been doing it for a while and we're super proud of them. We're keeping that tradition going."
