Firefighters were called out Monday afternoon to a brush fire behind a trailer park at Saratoga Boulevard and Old Brownsville Road.

Investigators said the wind was not a problem but the muddy conditions prevented brush trucks from getting to the blaze.

Despite the marsh conditions crews said it could have been worse.

"Once we got to it it was of substantial size," CCFD Captain James Brown said. "Crews were able to do a good job from letting the fire spread to any structure."

Investigators said kids playing with a lighter might have caused the fire, but it is still under investigation.
