Buc Days is only 78 days away and on Tuesday, contestants graduated from the Dale Carnegie program.

"What I learned from Dale Carnegie is being genuinely interested in the first way to establish connections and how to be a better leader," Isabella Gutierrez said.

The program is a leadership class, and it helped local students learn how to communicate better.

"My breakthrough was I wanted to be more comfortable talking with people and learning topics to talk about and keeping the conversation on other people really helps when you don't know someone well," Nathan Zabel said.

The king and queen each win an $8,000 scholarship for college, and the rest of the contestants also earn money for school.
