CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — On Saturday around 7:00 a.m. , officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department were called out to the intersection of Holly Road and Staples for a car accident.
According to the investigation, CCPD said it appeared that a sedan traveling eastbound on Holly ran a red light and hit an 18-wheeler traveling northbound on staples.
The driver of the sedan was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
