The Corpus Christi Independent school district is banning the recording of audio or video without administrator's consent. That decision was made by members of the school board back in February of last year.
Signs warning of the mandate have been posted around area campuses as a reminder as the one year anniversary of the policy comes closer. According to the Caller-Times, students, staff, and visitors will be forbidden from recording audio and video without permission.
Some are questioning the policy stating students have rights to record what they feel could be abusive or inappropriate situations on school grounds.
