CCPD Detectives looking for suspects accused of dental office burglary

Police detectives are reaching out to the public in hopes of catching a pair of suspects accused in the burglary of a local dental office.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A dental office is on high alert after thieves broke into their building an made off with a large screen television and attempted to take a printer and some medications.

Jessica Banda has been working as a dental assistant for Dr. Anthony Flores at his office at the 4100 block of Weber for the last six years and said when she arrived for work Monday, June 17 she immediately knew something wasn't right.

"They actually busted the back door on the video it looked like they put a crowbar and he just wedged and wedged it, and it popped right open," Banda said.

Surveillance video shows a person breaking into the office, taking a large screen television from the waiting room. Banda said the man came back but this time with someone else and wore a new set of clothes.

"And that's who grabbed the printer and went through Dr. Flores' office and 06.33.04, so it was two, but they changed clothes a couple of times in the video I don't know what significance that is, but they changed outfits I think twice," Banda said.

According to Banda, they are stepping up security with additional cameras and alarms systems. The break-in has left the dental office with an insecure feeling.

"It's just made us all a little uneasy about our surroundings and its not fun we want to feel safe and fine in our workplace, and now we feel scared," Banda said.

Maintenance crews have fixed the door, but the waiting room that once provided entertainment for awaiting dental patients still shows evidence of a burglary.

"It does it hurt you because dr Flores is here doing something for the community he's trying to help out members of the community...providing dental service. Also, to have someone from the community come and violate him, it hurts, it's sad," Banda said.
