CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It's "our pleasure" to tell you the new Chick-Fil-A at the corner of Everhart and SPID appears imminent, according to a release from the company.
A note sent to Chick-Fil-A Everhart customers thanks them for 30 years of loyalty at that location, and announced it will be closing the doors on that building at 5 p.m. Thursday, to prepare for the next-door location's opening.
"When we re-open, we will have a new look, but we will still have the same passion to serve," the release reads.
No opening date has been announced yet for the new building, but a Facebook post from August states the new location is scheduled to open later this year.
In a July post, officials said the location would have 106 seats available for indoor dining and 48 seats outside.
It also is scheduled to have plenty of parking, with 100 spots available, and three drive-through lanes, as well as an indoor playground.
The soon-to-close location was built in 1995.
We don't need to tell hardcore CFA fans where to get their fix, but for anyone else wondering, South Side locations are open at:
- 4946 S. Staples Street, across from La Palmera mall
- inside La Palmera mall food court
- 5929 Saratoga Blvd, across from CHRISTUS Spohn South
- 9601 SPID in Flour Bluff
