CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Police Department have been paying tribute to fallen hero Alan McCollum who was killed Friday night during a traffic stop.
Officers have been wearing a black band around their badge with a thin blue line called the Mourning Band.
The Mourning Band is meant to honor an officer that has been killed in the line of duty.
