Corpus Christi (KIII news) — City Council proclaimed the week of July 16 as National Disability Voter Registration Week in Corpus Christi.
The yearly campaign started Monday to remember those with disabilities who should be able to vote as easily as those without. The campaign highlights the importance of voting while also educating, registering and encouraging those with disabilities to go out and vote.
The proclaimed week will now always be from July 16-20.
