Del Mar College announced Wednesday that they are raising their college tuition.
In a meeting Tuesday, Del Mar's Board of Regents voted five-to-three to raise tuition by $3 per semester credit hour.
For a full-time student taking 12 hours, the change will mean an additional $36 per semester hour.
If the enrollment trends stay, the $3 increase could yield just over $476,000 this upcoming school year.
Tuition and fees the students currently pay are $174 per credit hour.
