Dr. Mark Hussey named new TAMUK President

The Texas A&M System Board of Regents confirmed Hussey during their meeting Thursday.

Kingsville (KIII News) — Dr. Mark Hussey was confirmed Thursday as the new president of Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

The Texas A&M System Board of Regents confirmed Hussey during their meeting Thursday. Hussey will be the 20th TAMUK president.

Hussey is taking over for Dr. Steven Tallant, who was recognized during Thursday's regents meeting as president emeritus. Hussey will begin in his new role Jan. 2.
