For every parent out there worried about their child and the brutal flu season we are in, this is not the worst year on record.
Though it may seem horrible right now, the cdc says this current epidemic is not as bad as 100 years ago when roughly 675,000 Americans died. We are on track to suffer from a moderately severe flu season similar to 2014-2015. So far this season, 30 children have died.
Here is what you can do to protect your child, yourself and others; the CDC says there is still time to get a flu shot. If you have a sudden fever, cough, body ache and headache contact your doctor for medicine, cover your cough and wash your hands and finally if you are sick --stay home.
