CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Incoming college students at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi experienced their freshmen orientation.
Hundreds of new college students arrived at the university Friday for the first day of orientation and were greeted by faculty.
"They get exposed to as much as possible today. we make sure they know the faculty, staff, and even students and the many organizations that we have on campus," coordinator Lori Shearin said.
"I'm just excited to meet new friends and like going to college. looking forward to learning something new and I don't know just the experience," incoming freshman Danielle Martinez said.
The next orientation will be Monday, July 8.
