CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Windsor Park Elementary School is selling engraved paving bricks for the front walkway at their new school.
Once construction is complete, 600 bricks will line a walkway and sit around the school's main flagpole. The bricks cost $50 and will display your name and the name of someone at the school you would like to recognize.
"The money is to raise funds for our playground. We are reinstalling some older pieces that are being refurbished, and we're having new pieces installed. So we're going for a state of the art playground. Any additional funds will help us with the transition to the new building," Principal Dr. Kimberly Bissel said.
The construction is on schedule, and the school should be open in the fall.
