CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — After months of hard work, Habitat for Humanity dedicated its newest home Friday to a family in Corpus Christi's northside.
Along with build sponsors and the Valero Energy Foundation, Habitat for Humanity blessed the home on Lipan Street. The family it now belongs to completed more than 500 hours of "sweat equity" and also attended home-ownership workshop classes to be eligible for the new home.
