CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Harbor Playhouse still needs your help even after a generous donation is working to keep theater lovers safe.
A patron of the Playhouse donated $10,000 Monday to help the non-profit to upgrade the buildings fire alarm system.
The fire alarm system the Harbor Playhouse needs will cost $75,000.
Officials at the Playhouse are now asking for your help during their red hot campaign.
"Safety is a huge priority, especially in a large venue such as this. also, we're about a middle-sized theater our main theater holds about 50 people so a new fire alarm system will provide all of the modern safety features that are required," tech director Josh Goldson said.
