CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — On Saturday morning, to celebrate World's Ocean Day the Hooks walked along several beaches to clean up debris.
The baseball players were also joined by community members who picked up litter along side them. Those participants received a Hooks Beach Sweep t-shirt and a ticket to the Hooks game on June 20th.
June 20th the Hooks will be hosting “No Phones Hooks Game” to encourage visitors to unplug. It's all a part of the Coastal Bend Conservation weekend sponsored by the Port of Corpus Christi.
