The Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority held a meet and greet Monday with their main leader.

Edward Martinez is the chairman of the Corpus Christi RTA, he met with city leaders and the public during the meet and greet.

Among the main topics, Martinez touched on a new smaller fleet of buses that will be serving less populated areas in the community.

"The great thing about our planning department here," Martinez said. "On the smaller routes."

Martinez said one of his main goals for the new year is to expand ground services into surrounding communities.
