Students hosted a mobile food pantry Monday at Moody High School to help end hunger in the area.

The event was held in partnership with the Coastal Bend Food Bank and Moody High School, and they hope to host one every month.

Students gathered up bags of food for families in need, specifically families in the 78415 and 78416 zip codes. The students gave out bags and boxes of fresh produce and canned goods.

The drive is a way for the students to help the community.
