This year's Coastal Bend Day of Giving supports 50 area nonprofits on the forefront of assisting those in need, and the Educating Children's Future Community Center is one of them.
From the The Educating Children's Future Community Center:
"The Educating Children's Future Community Center is a FREE Educational Enrichment After School Tutoring Program for all C.C.I.S.D. elementary age children. The E.C.F. Center provides a safe and encouraging environment for every child. The Mission of the E.C.F. is to help every student master all academic standards while proving support, time and instruction that focuses on each child's academic needs. The heart of the E.C.F. Center is to return the confidence and ability that each God-given child has within himself.

The after school tutoring program is every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00pm-6:00pm with Del Mar College Interns. Every child receives one-on-one and/ or small study group time, computer lab and a dinner meal."
