On Sunday, PAAC is making sure dogs in Corpus Christi are healthy and safe.

As a part of their Sunday clinic, the organization offered free micro-chipping, flea and tick prevention, as well as rabies vaccinations.

As of noon, PAAC ran out of micro-chipping but are continuing to offer the other services until 3 P.M. According to PAAC, micro chipped pets are two times more likely to be returned to it's owner.

Additionally, PAAC encourages all cat and dog owners to give them a flea and tick treatment to prevent them from getting diseases that these bugs carry.

Sunday's clinic is for dogs only, however PAAC does provide additional services for all animals. For more information on how you can protect your pets, visit PAAC's website.
