ROBSTOWN, Texas — An organization called Project Hope is hosting a family symposium on substance abuse prevention will be held at the Johnny Calderon Building in Robstown, Texas.
The symposium will focus on educating parents on what to watch for in their children if they start abusing certain substances. The Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation sponsors the program.
"We want to give the parents the resources and tools available to get these conversations started at home," Project Hope Coordinator Robby Silva said.
According to Silva, a common question for parents is where to draw the line between being a friend and being a parent.
