Corpus Christi (KIII News) — Some people on the Island were able to have a ride of their life and it was all for a good cause.
Saturday was the Island Thunder Motorcycle Parade.
It was all hosted by the Indian Motorcycle Club for the La Posada foundation.
The non-profit supports children in the community and in order for people to join the parade, they were asked to donate a new or unopened toy for Toys for Tots.
"Motorcycle rides are nice in its whole entirety, but doing it for a great cause like this are event better," executive director Artug Altug said.
Over 100 riders were able to join Saturday's parade and on Dec. 8, the La Posada Padre Island Boat Parade will take place and televised on channel 3.
