CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) — Corpus Christi police have identified the man arrested following a two-hour standoff with SWAT officers Thursday at a hotel in the 6800 block of SPID.

21-year-old Preston Felts has been booked into the Nueces County Jail on an aggravated robbery warrant. Police said felts was accused of robbing a bag full of sunglasses from a store and threatening an employee back on Nov. 19.

Officers arrived at the hotel Thursday night to execute his arrest warrant, but Felts reportedly locked himself in the room and refused to come out. SWAT officers negotiated with him for two hours before he eventually surrendered.

There has been no word yet if any additional charges will be filed.
