Students from the early college high school in robstown are hitting a homerun with their first ever autism awareness baseball game. The play on the diamond comes amid autism awareness month.
School staff and families of children with this special need attended including Edward Trevino II. The senior at Robstown High School who is diagnosed with autism threw out the first pitch.
Trevino's family members said Edward was super pumped to carry out the newly found tradition. Organizers at the school say they hope to continue this game and grow the attendance next year.
