This week on the First Edition's South Texas Gardener segment, we take a closer look at seeds you can plant that are easy to grow and can help keep you on track for healthier you in the new year.

Seeds you might want to consider planting that grow with ease are carrots and radishes. Both of these seeds can be planted in the ground in a row about the depth of your thumb.
