PORT ARANSAS (Kiii News) — Thursday was officially proclaimed "Spurs Day" in Port Aransas as staff members of Spurs Sports & Entertainment visited parts of the city to participate in service projects aimed at recovering from Hurricane Harvey.
The San Antonio Spurs Coyote and Silver Dancers also made special appearances during pep rallies at Port Aransas High School and Olsen Elementary School.
Spurs Sports & Entertainment executives were in town to discuss recovery efforts with Port Aransas Mayor Pro-Tem Wendy Moore during a press conference at City Hall.
