Thanksgiving lunch served at Mother Teresa Shelter

The goodwill gesture is what Mother Teresa shelter has become known for -- no one walks away hungry.

Corpus Christi (KIII News) — There was much joy spread Thursday at the Mother Teresa Shelter for their annual Thanksgiving lunch.

In 2017, more than 300 of the city's homeless and less fortunate were served a lunch, and in 2018 the numbers were higher.

The recipients at lunch received a warm meal including some gifts.

"I am very grateful because I got a chance to serve for our homeless brothers and sisters. This is a great pleasure to me you know because they don't have a place to go, but they have mother Teresa's shelter," Sister Rose said.
