The three suspects accused of killing 47-year-old Stephanie Montez back in October of 2017 appeared in court Monday.
Cedric Green, Randy Dorsey, and Chloe Huehlefeld all pleaded not guilty to murder and engaging in the organized criminal activity.
Montez, a transgendered woman, was found dead at a home outside of Robstown in October of last year. Police said she was shot five times in the chest and stomach following a dispute over $20.
Police said Montez knew the suspects. Their trial is set to begin in March.
