The U.S.S. Lexington held a celebration of sorts Wednesday to mark the opening of a brand new exhibit.

The exhibit is called The Heart of Every Ship and shows off the critical equipment used to make a ship like the U.S.S. Lexington go. Valves, pumps, and soot blowers are just some of the items that have been repurposed to show off just how critical the engine room is.

The new exhibit also features a small theater with a film called Engineering 101.

You can check out the new exhibit on the fourth deck of the U.S.S. Lexington leading into the engine room.
