CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — In the wake of National Disability Voter Registration Week, some Coastal Bend organizations are doing their part to ensure people with disabilities are registered to vote.
The Coastal Bend Center for Independent Living, League of Women Voters, and many other organizations are hosting several voter registration events throughout the week.
On Monday, a kickoff event was held at the Nueces County Courthouse. It was open to everyone, not just people with disabilities.
You can find a list of locations where you can register to vote below:
- July 15: 9 a.m.-noon Kick off Voter Registration at Nueces County Courthouse
- July 16: 11:30 a.m.-City Council Proclamation - Council Chambers
- July 17: 9 a.m.-noon Voter Registration at The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Center 5151 McArdle Rd.
- July 18: All day Voter Registration at CBCIL 1537 Seventh Street.
- July 19: All day Voter Registration at CBCIL 1537 Seventh Street.
