Woman receives ticket for driving without a license during fatal pedestrian accident

Jacobo was rushed to Christus Spohn Shoreline where he was pronounced dead.

Corpus Christi (KIII News) — A woman involved in a fatal pedestrian accident Wednesday was given a ticket for driving without a license in the 3700 block of Ayers.

According to police, 61-year-old Abel Jacobo stepped off of a curb and into oncoming traffic when he was hit by a truck.

Jacobo was rushed to Christus Spohn Shoreline where he was pronounced dead.

Officers said the driver of the truck initially left the scene but later came back.
