A Harris County man entered a guilty plea on Friday in a case involving the solicitation of a minor.

Back in August of last year, Mark McClanahan was caught via an Internet sting by a special computer crimes task force. An investigator said McClanahan had an online conversation with a detective who posed as a 13-year old girl in an online chat room.

That investigator, who took the stand Friday during the punishment phase of McClanahan's trial, described the conversation as extremely graphic.

Also taking the stand was the defendant's wife.

"I've been with him almost everyday since this," said Jennifer McClanahan, the defendant's wife. "He's never wavered. He has always taken responsibility for what he has done."

In the end, McClanahan was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
