Miss United States, born and raised in Corpus Christi, paid a visit to the Kiii studios Thursday.

Whitney Miller, a 2007 graduate of Flour Bluff High School, competed in the Miss United States pageant in July. She competed to become Miss Texas last October, and just recently handed over her crown last weekend in Galveston.

Miss Ohio won the Miss United States pageant, but she was stripped of the crown due to misconduct after just 72 days of being Miss United States. Miller was the first runner up, and found out she would be the newly crowned Miss United States just two weeks ago.

Miller will be Miss United States for a one year, and during that time period, she cannot be married or have children.
