Congratulations are in order for some students at Moody High School. Their Underwater Robotics Team is on its way to nationals after being crowned the best in the state at a state tournament at NASA this weekend.
The team worked non-stop to build an underwater robot, which had to perform a series of tests during the competition this weekend. As you can imagine, it was a big thrill for all the students involved.
"I spent my whole high school career trying to get to this point," Moody student Benjamin Galicia said. "It was a complete emotional release when we won. I started crying like crazy."
The students will now move onto a national competition which will take place in Washington State.
