A couple manages to escape their burning home and was brought to safety by their neighbors.

Frank Rodriguez with CCFD said, "a lady in a wheel chair and another adult were both out prior before getting here. The neighbors had knocked out the fence on the side of the house and were able to pull her out."

The fire started on the 4900 block of Trinity which is near Everhart and McArdle at around 2 this afternoon.

Fire officials believe that the fire started in the laundry room, but have not been able to determine what started it.

The house has extensive fire and smoke damage but fortunately, the residents were able to get out safely.

We're told those living inside will be staying with family members.
