CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Police Department responded to a robbery at the Valero convenience store Friday.

According to police, it was just after 3 a.m. Friday when a robber decided to collect a few groceries before heading to the counter to demand cigarettes and all the money from the register.

Investigators said the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Thankfully no one was hurt.
