Some special guests made a surprise appearance at Kostoryz Elementary on Friday, all aimed at getting kids pumped up for an upcoming test.

Just before 9 a.m., Carroll High School's Tigerettes and the drum line did their best to boost the Kostoryz students' enthusiasm for the upcoming STARR test.

The STAAR test, which is the biggest test students face, will be given across the state, and educators said Friday's rally was one way to encourage kids to study often, and study hard.

Kiii News wants to wish all students the best of luck during their test.
