The pink pumpkin craze made its way to the Art Center of Corpus Christi Thursday night, and folks were putting a little bling on their pumpkins, too.

This, of course, was for a good cause: the battle against breast cancer. For $50, folks got the chance to decorate a gourde with some glitz and glam.

"Instead on having a charity where you raise money, we had people come out here and if you donated money you decorate a pumpkin and be with your friends," said Samantha Boone, who decorated a pumpkin at the event.

The event was put on by Radiology Associates and all the of the money raised goes to the American Cancer Society. If you want to get your hands on one of the pink pumpkins, they will be sold Saturday at La Palmera Mall.
