CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Over the past several weeks, the League of Women Voters-Corpus Christi chapter have been working tirelessly to provide Coastal Bend voters with the resources and information they need to participate in the 2020 election.
With that goal in mind, the League's Corpus Christi chapter extended an invite to candidates from all of the races on the Nueces County ballot, offering them the chance to participate in virtual candidate forums.
The forums were recorded by the League via Zoom and the footage was provided to 3News to help spread the word. You can watch those candidate forums below.
The forums have been cut down into their individual races for ease of viewing. Click the links above each video to read more about the candidates and the positions they are running for. That information is provided by the League of Women Voters via Vote411.org.
This candidate forum was recorded by the League of Women Voters-Corpus Christi via Zoom on two separate occasions. All candidates for Corpus Christi Mayor were invited to participate. Candidates that participated include:
- First half: Priscilla Gonzalez, Paulette Guajardo, Eric Rodriguez
- Second half: Joe McComb, Joe Michael Perez, and Carolyn Vaughn
