A 26-year old Robstown man has been handed down a three-year prison term after being convicted of calling in bomb threats.

It was last June that Erasmo Luna pled guilty to phoning in multiple bomb threats in October of 2011, and persuading his cousin to do so as well, in order to get out of work early.

On Friday, U.S. District Judge Nelva Gonzales Ramos accepted the guilty plea. Along with having to serve three years in prison, Ramos has been ordered to pay $145,000 in restitution to Valero.
