Getting back to a normal life after spending time behind bars is a tough transition, and usually the first step in that process is getting a job.

That was the goal of the Second Chance Job Fair held Thursday at the Al Amin Shrine Temple on Suntide Road. The event was geared specifically toward helping those who have been in prison or jail get back on their feet.

Many who attended said they are just grateful for an opportunity.

This was the fifth year the event was held.
