Students gathered in the cafeteria of St. Joseph School in Alice to hear from professionals in various fields during their Career Fair Thursday morning.

Kiii News Reporter Mike DaSilva was given the honor of speaking to the students about broadcast journalism.

"It was very rewarding interacting with the children ranging from kindergarten to seventh grade," Mike DaSilva said. "They were full of energy, enthusiasm and curiosity. They asked a lot of great questions."

Also present at the Career Fair were representatives from the U.S. Border Patrol and the Alice Police Department, as well as a published author.
