A local car dealership has been dealing with a unique problem recently -- tires being stolen from vehicles overnight.

Workers have arrived at the Subaru preowned car lot to find vehicles with missing tires three times now, the latest incident happening overnight when the tires were stolen from a black Escalade.

The vehicle was left on concrete blocks.

"We're concerned what's being done with the tires," said Senior Officer Kirk Stowers of the Corpus Christi Police Department. "If they're sold on classified ads or Internet postings."

The CCPD's Auto Theft Task Force is now investigating these thefts.
