CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii Sports) - The Corpus Christi Clutch are a new basketball team in their inaugural season, and they've already found a nemesis. The Clutch (3-2) have lost two games this season, and they've both come at the hands of the Twin City United (5-1).

Corpus Christi had a late 4th quarter lead at 73-71 following Eric Staten's bucket and the foul. However, the United were too much in the two minutes of the game, scoring a total of nine points in that stretch to grab the road win 89-84.

The Clutch kept this one a bit closer than the 112-92 beating they took up in Bryan-College Station on January 25th. Corpus Christi next heads to Boerne, TX to take on the Lone Star Law next Sunday at 5 pm.
