CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A driver in Corpus Christi flipped their vehicle Wednesday morning after being hit passing through a red light.
The woman driving an SUV was going northbound when she passed through a red light and was hit by another SUV. Her vehicle then flipped over, trapping her for a short amount of time.
She was taken to an area hospital for treatment after suffering a head injury. She was also given a citation for failure to stop at a signal light. There was no alcohol involved.
Corpus Christi Police advise that all drivers give themselves plenty of time to reach their destinations without feeling the need to rush.
